Elizabeth (or “EJ” as many friends call her) began planning her virtual biz in 2006, but didn’t really get it going until 2011. She has a BA degree in Communications Broadcasting and a Certificate degree in Administrative Office Management. Her 25+ year career, so far, has been as an Executive / Admin Assistant. Currently, she does work part time as a Statistical Data Admin for the ER dept of the local hospital. But she is excited about being an entrepreneur VA and Virtual Event Manager.

EJ has been married since 1998 (he’s a Software Developer); they live in NC and have an foster-to-adopt daughter, and a dog. She volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem for her county’s court system in NC. As you get to know her, you will find she is obsessed with:
1) dolphins…has “adopted” three in the wild,
2) e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g Scottish!! and
3) you will rarely see her without her camera.

Cindy is the owner of Creative Assistants whose Virtual Assistant team specializes in working with consultants emerging from the corporate world and entering entrepreneurship. Creative Assistants’ primary services include Executive Assistance, Business Operations and Social Media Management, QA and program testing, and other tech-based services.

Cindy is a Past President (2009-2010) of the International Virtual Assistants Association and led its Board of Directors and volunteers to implement expanded benefits members, design and launch a new logo and website, and increase media exposure for the Virtual Assistant industry. She also served as Membership Director, Vice-President and was instrumental in the launch and growth of the industry’s first online conferences.
