  • Susan Gibbons

I am the founder and proud owner of Susan Gibbons Virtual Assistants, a virtual administrative support service, which I operate full-time from my home-based office on the beautiful south shore of Massachusetts. I spent more than 15 years in the corporate world providing executive assistance and office management support to top level executives and small to medium-sized business owners. I loved my career as an Executive Administrative Professional and the work I did for so many years. But, as it did with everyone, the downturn in the economy prompted me to reassess my goals.

When my clients first come to me they are facing challenges like:
Spending too much time doing things that are important but well below their pay grade
Have important things that are not getting done
Are having trouble organizing their calendar activities and projects

If any of these things are concerns for you then I can help. I will get you to where you can focus on what is really important for you to be doing at any given time. You will have peace of mind knowing that all of the other tasks and projects are in the good hands of someone who has worked for busy entrepreneurs just like you for many years.
We are going to optimize the way you spend your time. You will not miss deadlines and will be well prepared for all your meetings and speaking engagements. You will be able to concentrate on growing and improving your business and the things that help you to make more money while saving by not having to pay for in house staff.

  • Kate Kelly has been a Virtual Assistant for the past 8 years. She started out working exclusively for a local market research company. When the company relocated out-of-state and was unable to hire someone to replace her, they decided to try the “virtual thing” and see how it worked. Two years later the company president announced he was taking a sabbatical and Kate found herself without a job, with two small children at home full-time and no daycare. Enjoying creating her own hours and working in her pajamas, she did some online research for “work from home” and was fortunate enough to run across the International Virtual Assistants Association, IVAA. Signed up as a member immediately and began the process of starting her company, ExecAssist. Within weeks of publishing her Web site, she landed her first client.

With her advanced, wide-ranging skills Kate works with many types of clients…speakers, authors, coaches and small business owners, to name a few. She is versatile, resourceful and uses a can-do attitude to get the job done, quickly, accurately and to the great satisfaction of her clients.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys traveling the globe, sampling fine cuisine and volunteering for charity events. Because she has no spare time, she manages an occasional trip through the drive-thru at Wendy’s to keep her five daughters happy (which counts as travel and dining, but sadly not the “fine” part) and volunteering to pick up the dry-cleaning for her husband of over 16 years. An avid reader, Kate carries her iPhone loaded with the Kindle app with her at all times so that she can read at stoplights, in waiting rooms and when she is stuck in traffic, because God knows she doesn’t have time to read when she is home.

Kate has participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure for the past three years, raising over $10,000 for the fight against breast cancer. A glutton for punishment she is walking again this year in Atlanta.
