Candy is the chief number cruncher behind the successful virtual bookkeeping firm, OffAssist. Opened in 2002, OffAssist has grown quickly to a multi-VA firm, including her supportive husband, Tom. Candy is a past president of IVAA (2007-2008), an administrator at VAnetworking, founder of video blog 2minuteswithava.com as well as founding the The Virtual Assistance League and the Texas Virtual Assistance League. She also volunteers with virtual assistants in her hometown of Austin, Texas. In her spare time, Candy enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Lanel Taylor, the owner, since 2002, of Taylored Office Solutions, Inc. , is a numbers geek who likes to take the fear out of finance. A huge advocate for taking control of your money, Lanel helps her clients review their finances and create livable budgets for their business and personal lives. Lanel also utilizes her experiences as an entrepreneur to help other small business owners succeed in their businesses.
In 2007, Lanel co-founded the Inland Northwest Virtual Assistants Alliance, to support local virtual professionals and bring awareness of the virtual asstant industry to the area business community. In 2011, she co-founded the Virtual Assistance League to help virtual professionals woldwide build relationships in order to build their businesses. She also sits on the Administrative Programs Advisory Committee for North Idaho College.
In her spare time, Lanel enjoys spoiling her dog and cat, camping, and spending time at the lake or with her family.
Patty Dost, owner of Time Is Of The Es-Cents, has over 20 years experience in the corporate world. She has an extensive background as an Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Assistant, and Payroll Administrator.
She brings with her experience in various Microsoft applications, Wordpress, 1ShoppingCart, Dreamweaver, and various other software. Patty specializes in online newsletters, editing, proofreading, writing, blogs, administrative support, Internet research, and the list goes on and on.
Patty received the 2007 VAccolade of the Year award from VAnetworking, is VA certified by VAcertified.com, and was a 2008 Janet Jordan Achievement Award Nominee.
Since officially opening her Virtual Assistant business, Patty has used her background and also furthered her skills so that she can assist her clients and establish long-term business relationships. She enjoys working with small businesses and Virtual Assistants.
